Here are some of the recent Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters related picks from around the web over the last week or so:

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On YouTube

There are loads of reviews and Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster related videos on YouTube, with more being added every day. Here are some of the best recent clips:

This video shows a bunch of kids (well 8 to 10 kids actually) racing their Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters. They line them up, let them go and those little pet hamster toys are off and racing. Who's going to win?

This is a really good view of the hamster environment, they seem to have most of the accessories. You get to see the hamsters jumping around, you seem them driving their car, navigating the tunnels, etc.

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On Twitter

Here are some of the best recent Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster related tweets, along with my comments in italics:

• by ZhuZhuHunters: Where have YOU been having luck finding Zhu Zhu Pets at retail? Do you have any tricks/hints to share?
Comment: If you're having trouble finding them in a retail store, I'd recommend buying Zhu Zhu Pets online. Even then there are no guarantees that you'll be able to find them at retail prices, but it's the place to start looking. Much easier than driving around stores only to find that they are out of pet hamster toys.
• by kittykat6182: is on cloud 9 we found zhu-zhu pets. they are a VERY hot item this holiday season
Comment: Hey great stuff! It just goes to show that you can find Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters out there if you persevere.
• by memoriesbymicha: Honestly can't figure out why O wants Zhu Zhu pets for Christmas! Looks boring to me! But at least I found the house and garage ;)
Comment: I'm not sure I understand WHY, but I definitely understand that kids DO love the Zhu Zhu Pets range for some reason.
• by ZhuZhuHunters: Where have YOU been having luck finding Zhu Zhu Pets at retail? Do you have any tricks/hints to share?
Comment: Buy the Zhu Zhu Pets (and associated accessories) online.
• by sbennettwealer: It's not my imagination! Zhu Zhu Pets are basically impossible to find. We've had some on back order from Target since Sept!
Comment: You really have to hand it to Cephia, they've really whipped up a storm with these toy hamsters. But stick with it, I'm sure you'll find some soon!
• by teknofetish: none in walmart, none in toysrus.. we need zhu zhu pets! :(
Comment: If you're wondering where to buy zhu zhu pets hamsters, then try buying them online.
• by therealTKNOCK: Brendan wants those damn Zhu Zhue Pets....Are they for boys???
Comment: Zhu Zhu Pets are for both boys and girls. There are lots of little girls out there who are very happily playing with their hamster toys even as I write this.
• by beth__: My kid wants Zhu Zhu pets for Xmas, but hello - they are not cheap!! Real hamsters would cost less, but they smell.
Comment: Well you're missing a major point regarding the cost. Real hamsters cost you money week after week. You have to feed them, take them to the vet if they get sick etc. I know they don't cost as much as most pets, but they are an ongoing, recurring cost. Electronic toy hamsters only cost once, then they're free (well apart from the occasional battery).
• by heatherjahayhay: @Claritybleeds Matty b are you camped out at target waiting for a shipment of zhu zhu pets?
Comment: Don't camp out. Wait at home and buy Zhu Zhu Pets online!
• by happycube: would like Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Mr. Squiggles
Comment: Get across to our page showing the full Zhu Zhu Pets product range. There you'll find links allowing you to buy Mr Squiggles online.
• by Caitsmomma: I HATE every person who buys all the Zhu Zhu pets and sells them for 3 or 4x the price. So many kids will be disappointed this Xmas. JERKS!!
Comment: Yes, I agree that this is wrong. They are driving up the price beyond the means of many people. Still I'm hopeful that more units will be released in the near future and that it will ease the price.
• by myfunkycamera: Ohmygosh!! people sleep outside of ToysRus to get zhu zhu pets!!!
Comment: And that says everything about how popular Zhu Zhu Pets will be this Christmas. Of course, I would have slept at home and bought them online!
• by MomTalkRadio: Very excited to be the marketing team behind several hot sellers right now- Zhu Zhu Pets and Temple Touch Themometers.
Comment: Well your marketing team has done an exceptional job to keep the popularity of the Zhu Zhu Pets so high and have everyone desparately trying to buy them.
• by meghuff99: I'm on the hunt for Zhu Zhu Pets! If anyone can help a sista out and let me know if u see any of the items at any stores! Thanks!
Comment: I'll say again - why not buy the Zhu Zhu Pets online?
• by SarahSumpolec: May be banned from target for a while, but I have Zhu Zhu pets (can't find the pink one!) Funny how important these things are to a mom.
Comment: LOL, "might be banned from target for a while". Classic! I hope you didn't have to hurt anyone to get your Zhu Zhu Pets - there's a level of desperation that you should never go beyond. Of course you could have bought them online.

Here are some of the recent Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters related picks from around the web over the last week or so.

This time round, it's only stuff from Twitter, and I've tried to comment on each of them:

• by Chellebaby75: Still looking for Zhu Zhu Pets - Hamster Ball if you see any Please let me know
You can always try buying the Zhu Zhu Pets Adventure Ball online. Can't guarantee you'll get it, but it's a better approach than running around the different stores than don't actually have any in stock.
• by ezza_bee: ok so i bought one of those zhu zhu pets for my daughter. she LOVES it. i just wish it didn't make quite so many noises. cat hates the thing
Ha I never thought of that! You may want to be careful about buying a pet hamster toy if you already have real pets. The Zhu Zhu Pets are realistic enough to worry the other pets.
• by quadrupled: is anyone at a walmart looking for zhu zhu pets right now?
No! I'd much rather buy the Zhu Zhu pets online! It's much more convenient.
• by gregorynice: You may have won this time Zhu Zhu Pets- but I'll find you soon enough

How can anyone have not heard of the Zhu Zhu Pets?

• by mlee425: Searching for zhu zhu pets and all the accessories to go with them....the life of an aunt to the best kid ever!!!
• by kitterztoo: @theACET Yeah I hate that damn place. Swore I'd never enter the store. Unfortunately Zhu Zhu pets are only sold there and Toys R Us.
Well you can also buy Zhu Zhu pets online, so you don't have to go to 'that damn place' wherever it is, you can just buy them from your living room!
• by kitterztoo: @migrainemike I was attempting to find Zhu zhu pets. Latest fad. Then I got an aura. Sigh. They didn't have them anyway.
• by ZoopSoul: Hey Zhu Zhu Pets, why do you have cars? You have friggin' wheels for legs! It's redundant!
Hey everyone has a right to drive, even pet hamsters toys. Besides, have you seen them driving around in their little cars – they are just so damn cute.
• by miss_leahg: Geez, these Zhu Zhu Pets are hard to come by. The Christmas toy war has already begun.
• by OmerellColeman: hasn't been able to find those damn Zhu Zhu pets anywhere! Ugh.
• by LambsTOYS: Go Go Pets - 2010 name change to 'Zhu Zhu' plus 4 New Characters - Jilly, Scoodles, Nugget and Winkie. Stock due 4th Week December
Hey Hey! I've written about the new Zhu Zhu Pets (Jilly, Scoodles, Nugget and Winkie) but I didn't know the release date! That's so cool - Thanks. Everyone get ready to buy these new hamster toys. I'll update the listing of all Zhu Zhu products to include the new ones when they are available.

I'd suggest trying to buy the Zhu Zhu Pets online, but it's hard to find them anywhere at the moment, even online!
• by shancakes: The hype over these damn Zhu Zhu pets is ridiculous! I need that durn Num Num tho and Mr Squiggles.. #needahookup
  Buy them online!
• by ladybug_3777: @jamesburkett @SwissCookie Zhu Zhu pets are the hot xmas toy this year. Impossible to find without punching out an old lady... or two.
Well I wouldn't go that far to get my hands on a Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster.

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On The Web - 21 October 2009

Here are some of the recent Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters related picks from around the web over the last week or so:

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On YouTube

There are loads of reviews and Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster related videos on YouTube, with more being added every day. Here are some of the best recent clips:

This is the official ad, which I've already posted before, but apparently this version is clearer and the sound is better.

This clip shows someone who got 3 packages in the mail filled with different zhu zhu pet items. It's quite long at 4 minutes and also pretty jerky (with a section of black screen in the middle), but may be worth a look.

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On Twitter

Here are some of the best recent Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster related tweets, along with my comments in italics:

• by Totzylala: on the look out for Zhu Zhu pets....
• by SwissCookie: what are they? keep hearing about them RT: @ladybug_3777: I'm 4th in line at toys r us waiting for zhu zhu pets! Hoping to score!!!
• by ladybug_3777: I'm 4th in line at toys r us waiting for zhu zhu pets! Hoping to score!!!
• by ericstephani: Thank God Isabella is still too young for these Zhu Zhu Pets.
• by motleyclimber: Spent the day in Lexington. Looked everywhere for the Zhu Zhu pets, finding only empty shelves. These critters are very elusive...
• by ladybug_3777: Now i have to take random photos around the house to try and push the photos off the front page! Damn you zhu zhu pets AGAIN!!
• by EllieAnnaPurses: YAY!!! My cousin found 2 more Zhu Zhu pets for my kids~only had 1!!!
• by pintsizesocial: RT @IsabellaPrdcts Just like @pintsizesocial said, zhu zhu pets getting a lot of attention for a popular holiday children's gift
• by bluepaintred: I have solved the mystery of why I cannot find anything related to Zhu Zhu pets in stores. Not available in Canada, Bastards.
Perhaps they are available under the Go Go Pets branding? I've heard reports that they're being sold under that brand in Australia.
• by ZhuZhuHunters: Mr. Squiggles to be at STL zoo this Saturday, zhu zhu pets giveaways! I wish I didn't have other plans cuz I want to GO!!!
• by Caitsmomma: Zhu Zhu pets why must you be so elusive?
• by PilarAsh: I hate that the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters are sold out at all the regular toy stores but you can find them on ebay for 2-3 times regular price
I've noticed that too. I guess when something is as popular as the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters, there will be shortages. When there are shortages, the price will be inflated. I'm sure there are people out there making money off hot products such as the Zhu Zhu Pets. I agree that inflated prices suck, but that's the market economy in action. People don't have to buy them if they can't find them at the recommended retail price.
• by ZhuZhuHunters: Is anyone finding Zhu Zhu Pets in odd stores??
What sort of odd stores? Ones that sell odd things? I guess you mean small toy stores that aren't part of the big toy chains.
• by meow154: Been looking for Zhu Zhu pets on line. Seems everyone is sold out or asking way to much! Have a kid that wants one bad!
• by Fresh_Trendz: Breanna Monroe is a huge Zhu Zhu pets fan. Just Zhu Zhu pets EVERYWHERE! In the bathroom, On the steps, On the island, In my closet Ugghhh
• by asparkle2: @lemonyhead zhu zhu pets this year. Got 3 pieces from 3rd party amazon seller last night at 2-3 x msrp. Rip off.
See above. You didn't have to buy it! But understand the frustration.
• by ZhuZhuHunters: There are reports that the Zhu Zhu Pets are NOT in this week's Target ad, but they ARE supposed to be put on shelves tomorrow! We will see!
• by motleyclimber: Going crazy looking for Zhu Zhu Pets!(robo-hamsters) aka Mr Squiggles! Cant findem anywhere. Kristens b-day party next Sat. Clock is ticking
• by lunabellcharil: wtf zhu zhu pets. What is so fun about watching a toy hamster play BY ITSELF?! I can imagine the novelty will only last about three minutes.
The artificial intelligence in these things is fantastic. They don't just do they same thing over and over – their actions vary. I imagine it will take quite a while for the novelty to wear off. Of course it will, it does for most new toys, but I think it will last longer than on average.
• by hedjemunkee: My mom ROCKS! She found 2 of those Zhu Zhu Pets for the girls. That was the hard part...now to start working.
• by miss_melissa_: @racharoo zhu zhu pets & an mp3 player & stuff. She's been feverish since thurs or else I would have considered it. She's def better today
• by momtojande: Why are these Zhu Zhu pets so popular? Stores here are sold out and Amazon keeps raising the price.
• by john_swaggerdap: @ladybug_3777 are zhu zhu pets the new furbies or something? I'm clearly out of touch
• by ladybug_3777: Aaaaand.... No zhu zhu pets were there. Poor hubby!
• by ladybug_3777: Hubby is outside of walmart right now with 4 other ppl waiting to see if they have zhu zhu pets. I'm warm in bed. God I love that man.
• by LELakeZurich: Zhu Zhu Pets are now on sale at our Lake Zurich store location. Come on in and see what all the buzz is.
Good news for those in Switzerland. You may have what the rest of the world is desperately searching for.
• by TonyzCustomz: If I was a scalper I would be in heaven today. Every store has almost everything toy related. Even zhu zhu pets. Lol
I bet they don't last. Those Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters will disappear like lightening!
• by GirlMeetsCamera: Needs to get her hands on some zhu zhu pets ASAP.
• by yahoosearchdata: Popular 'where to buy' searches on Y! this week: Zhu Zhu pets, Spanx, borax, diatomaceous earth, dry ice, acai berries, cheesecloth
• by Kargach: Still recovering from getting up early to help Gen's sister buy Zhu Zhu Pets at Toys R Us.
• by keen23: Desperately seeking Zhu Zhu pets. The kids have decided that they NEED them for Christmas this year. Way better than real hampsters I guess.
Actually, I think real hamsters would be much better for kids, but of course in modern life, a high tech electronic hamster is more convenient.
• by angieortinau: @hthrvghn Those dang Zhu Zhu pets are the talk of the web. Sold out everywhere! So glad Lucie isn't big enough to ask Santa for them.
I think even Santa will have a tough job making sure that there are enough Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters around for Christmas.
• by jedatu: Wife says people were waiting in line an hour before Toys-R-Us opened to try to get Zhu Zhu Pets.
• by IsabellaPrdcts: shhhh...zhu zhu pets (@pintsizesocial)

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On The Web - 15 October 2009

Here are some of the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters related picks from around the web in the last 24 hours:

The Official Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters Blog

Over on the official Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters blog, they're carrying a word search for the kids to complete. The word search can be downloaded as a PDF, then printed out and completed. You have to search for Zhu Zhu Pets related words in the matrix of letters, then circle the words. For example, one I found was Sleep Dome.

Great fun for the kids and good for their education as well.

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On YouTube

As always, there a lot of reviews and other related videos on YouTube. Here are some from the last 24 hours:

A review of a brand new Mr. Squiggles Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster. The reviewer has obviously just received it. She doesn't really take it out of the box, but she does make it 'talk' and it's interesting to hear the sounds it makes.

She mentions that the pet hamsters are smaller than she'd expected, but she doesn't seem to suggest that it's a problem in anyway.

She also shows that the box has pictures of 5 other pet hamsters that haven't been released yet. I have a half written post about this topic - I'll try to get it up in the next day or two..

In this video, a nine year old girl called Katie is interviewed about why she like the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters. She's fairly shy and doesn't give out much in the way of new information, but it's interesting to hear what children really think of them.

Oh and she has a Mr. Squiggles hamster in her hands. Seems he's popular today doesn't it. Two videos, two pet hamsters, two Mr. Squiggles.

You got that right! They will be the hottest selling item this Christmas.

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On The Web - 14 October 2009

There's no doubt that Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters are hot right now. Here are some of the recent Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters related picks from around the web:

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On YouTube

There are loads of reviews and Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster related videos on YouTube, with more being added every day. Here are some of the best recent clips:

A great verbal review of Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters, with a man interviewing his two kids. As the description of the video says:

They'll tell you: 1) How they discovered the Zhu Zhu pet phenomena 2) Which Zhu Zhu pet is their individual favorite 3) Why they like Zhu Zhu pets better than real hamsters 4) Where Zhu Zhu pets rank on the "must have toy" list

The only negative is that there is no actual footage of the the pet hamsters, or the people, it's just of the official website.

Okay, this video actually shows some children playing with the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters. They seem to have most of the Zhu Zhu Pets accessories, so you can get a real feel for what the toys are like

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters On Twitter

Here are some of the best recent Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster related tweets, along with my comments in italics:

• by ZhuZhuPetShop: Walmart Zhu Zhu pets, sold-out | The Composed Gentleman http://tinyurl.com/yj8tgvx
• by threefourteen: #STL PLZ- If you are near a toy aisle in the next 2 days.. Look for ZHU ZHU pets.. Plz DM- Need them for bday party THX!
• by articles4author: Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Toys - Are They Safe For Your Child?: With any new toy that comes onto the market these da.. http://tinyurl.com/yfyd73x
Only a small article but makes a good point. How do we know that new toys such as Zhu Zhu Toys Pets Hamsters are safe for our kids?
• by neil411: Just bought four Zhu Zhu Pets for my nephew. They just happened to be in stock at Target. Almost gone after my visit, though.
• by 2icarly3: Actually think that the Zhu Zhu Pets look cool. Arranging a path for your electronic hamster to walk, not a bad toy idea!
Actually that's a great idea. You don't have to use the tunnels, you don't have to use the wide open floor - why not make your own path with various obstacles.
• by thekeatingcat: @brittanykins ZHU ZHU PETS ARE SO CUTE.
  Agreed!
• by HOLDitUP: Farm breakfast was a hit! Now we're hitting the toy store in hopes of scoring some zhu zhu pets! I need another cup of coffee (or three)!
• by articles4author: @mnstrsnmnchkns the zhu zhu pets are so awesome! i love them!!! its a must for this holiday season!!
• by piesky: zhu zhu pets....where oh where?
I'll be trying to answer that in a future post...
• by j_z_qua: @crisangwich thanks so much for posting!! My daughter has wanted a guinea pig for sooo long so the zhu zhu pets are a perfect compromise
Actually, as much as I love the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters, I don't think they are a substitute for the real thing. I wouldn't criticize anyone for buying them for their kids, because I totally understand the pressures of modern life, but it would be so much better for kids to experience the real thing.
• by rachaelbender: @AnneMGross My zhu zhu pets playdate was great. All the kids loved it and they got to take a hamster home with them!
• by Ed_Roberts: @bocatoystore I saw you have Zhu Zhu Pets. My son really wants one. He saw the commercial again here last night. Wife isn't convinced yet.
• by AshleyMariex0: Seriously, zhu zhu pets are not worth lining up at Target for
I wouldn't be so sure about that! It depends on whether you're willing to disappoint your kids! I wouldn't line up to buy Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters for me, but I would do it for my kids…
